Do SciFi Authors Dream of Electric Fish?

Through my wanderings around the blogosphere, I came across this little gem. It's a comic done by Robert Crumb about science fiction author Philip K. Dick, who was an incredible talented, but tragically poor, writer. His view of the cosmos was the inspiration for classic SciFi films such as Blade Runner, Total Recall and A Scanner Darkly. Starting in 1974, Dick had a series of visions in what he believed was a mystical revelation, or which could have been the onset of schizophrenia. As Crumb points out, there's really no difference.

This interesting comic is available for viewing and I thought I'd share it with you. Thanks and kudos to Scribd.
